Thanks again
All of everyone's comments and thoughts are very much appreciated, as always.

Work has been amazingly busy of late. Facebook has now made an appearance on our campus, and it's ALL over campus now, it seems. I've succumbed as well, and am on there. I did have problems finding some people here and there--as if they were invisible or something. Speaking of work, one of our departments was putting in an order for iPods and I arranged with the business office to have one ordered for me, and then worked out a payroll deduction payment plan. So, my trusty Creative Zen Nomad will be given to Rachel, or something along that line and we'll both share in a 60GB iPod. To say I'm excited about that would be an understatement. Now, the question is: Is it excessive to have 10888 songs that take up 47 GB of space? Keep in mind that this isn't taking into account the music on my PC at home--some of which are duplicates, but at the very least there are about 20 GB or so of additional music.

Okay, so yeah, it is a bit much, but I do love music. What is unfortunate is that I can't find the cable for my Creative MP3 player and there are some songs on my current player that I'd like on the new one. For example, P's version of Dancing Queen and R.E.M.'s unplugged version of It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine) from their MTV Unplugged appearance from a LONG time ago. Obviously, these aren't the only ones I'd like to keep around, but the first ones that I thought of.

Cleared off some shows on TiVo, and found that Once Upon a Time in Mexico makes for good background while playing a Game Boy Advance game. I didn't have to involve myself in the movie or anything. Sadly, I just didn't get into it.

Speaking of cleaning off the TiVo, I found myself glad to watch shows like say, Surface, Invasion, Threshold, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, even if some are of poorer quality. I'd rather watch that than some (though not all) of the unscripted stuff that's out there.

While watching MotorWeek--which I used to make sure I always watched on Saturday mornings when I was younger--Pat Goss did a bit on mufflers. Abby then asked, "What are doze for?" So, we talked about mufflers a bit.

Jonothan, on the other hand, is all about looking and pointing at things right now. "Ook," he'll say and point up or at a tree or ceiling fan or whatever. It's a fun game.

Equally fun was watching both of them interpret Andrea True Connection's More, More, More on the way to day care this morning.

One cherishes these small things a lot.

Hang in there!
FWIW, I've been ripping CDs the last few nights. I just passed 8 GB total.
