And I'm gonna be high as a kite by then. . .
Last night went ok. Abby and I had our pizza. I was a bit disappointed with it (it was much better cold this morning--nice breakfast, huh?), but Abby loved the mushrooms and spinach.

Even the TV that was on was ok. Star Trek: TNG was on for three hours in a row, but I settled on Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring despite owning the four DVD version of it. Abby didn't care too much for it after Bilbo's party, so we kept switching between Star Trek (she wasn't too keen on Worf, either), and The Karate Kid. God, I loved Elizabeth Shue even back then. Going to have to dig up our VHS copy of Adventures in Babysitting.

It seemed like a good time to go on-line after Abby fell asleep, but I wish I'd paid closer attention to the time, because Sundance was running Happiness at 11:00 p.m. I missed the first fifteen minutes of it, and was kind of mad at myself. By the time 12:30 rolled around, my eyes were so heavy, I couldn't watch it anymore. It goes on the to be rented list. Stupid Magic Online. . .

This morning came much too quickly, and 5:30 tonight will most likely come much too slowly. Fortunately, I get to go on the road, which should last at least an hour and a half or so. It's preferable to fight the rainy weather traffic (though the sun is peeking out from time to time) than being a warm body in the office. If timed just right, it'll make the last chunk of my shift last only about a half an hour or so.

Rachel got to see just about everyone she wanted to last night, however, the 12:00 a.m. concert was called on account of the weather. So, she and her family thought they'd be able to get going. Unfortunately, the concert Dean, our brother-in-law was watching lasted until one in the morning. Everyone was hungry afterwards, so a McDonald's trip became part of the plans.

It took forty minutes in McDonald's! Needless to say, all of them were frustrated. Apparently, they weren't the only ones with junk food on the mind.
