An odd question, I know, but has anyone ever used the GN 8110 USBxp with their GN Netcom headset?

The Logitech gaming headset I purchased a while ago for WoW is just weak. I can hear others and game sounds with no problem, but whenever I try voice chat it's a mess akin to my social experience in middle school--and in life in general.

Now, my work experience with the GN Netcom headset at work has been really, really good so I figured that would translate to VOIP on my PC, right? I would hope so.

Anyone?

One day early 'cause I'll have a four day weekend w00t!

Tom Petty - Learning to Fly
Cheap Trick - I Want You To Want Me
The Police - Murder By Numbers
Eminem - Sing For The Moment
The Riverdales - Back To You
The Killers - Somebody Told Me
Lisa Loeb - Wishing Heart

It seems as if Winamp had a bit of an AOR little section there. I can't believe Tom Petty is playing the Super Bowl half-time show. Unless I was misinformed--I don't really follow football at all, so if I'm off base, please let me know.

Even though, it's Cheap Trick's song, I always think of Letters to Cleo in 10 Things I Hate About You.

Great, now I'm also thinking of Murder By Numbers with Sandra Bullock...though this song was used in Copycat, wasn't it?

Mmm, skipping this one...and pretty much am done for now.

I am going to ENJOY my long weekend.

Because this kind of entry is exceptionally easy for me, and I actually keep a text file of my Friday sevens, here you are.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - Crossroads
Obie Trice - Cheers
Descendents - Pervert
Matchbook Romance - My Stories Your Alibis
Ozzy Osbourne - Bark At The Moon
George Harrison - When We Was Fab
Descendents - Hope

Wow, Winamp has yet again managed to jump around in crazy ways--with the exception of repeating Descendents, which I found odd. Whatever happened to Bone Thugs? Obie Trice is on my playlist thanks to my coworker sharing his external hard drive with me.

Now, Descendents...I think the first time I heard them was in a skate video of some sort. Then I remember them played in Pump Up the Volume. I was VERY disappointed that the soundtrack did not include Weinerschnitzel on it. How I even tracked down the song, I have no idea. From the movie credits perhaps?

No idea how Matchbook Romance got on my list.

Ozzy, well my stepfather introduced me to Ozzy so there's that. One of the people that works in the same work area has Ozzy's Crazy Train as their phone's default ringer. Rock!

Lastly, George Harrison. I have to say I like this song better than I Got My Mind Set On You--despite liking the video for that song at one time.

Recap complete.

I think I'll post last week's as well and I will have at least have it posted.

To be honest, I barely made it to midnight--aided by Turistas on TiVo.

Which was a mistake, but I had to learn this on my own. I am looking forward to Battle For the Planet of the Apes. I may find out that hope for that one is ill-advised as well.

It was nice to sleep in for a bit. It should be noted, however, that sleeping in now consists of sleeping until 8:00 a.m. where it once meant I would sleep until one or two in the afternoon.
