Home, with the kids
Stayed at home with Abby and Jonothan. He was up on and off during the night, coughing and such. Both Rachel and I were worried that he might be running a temperature, so we chose to keep him at home.

There was a few moments when I figured I could check on the status of the fairly inexpensive AT&T 802.11g card purchased from CompUSA last week. To my surprise, according to the status page, the status was DELIVERED - SIGNED FOR BY F.ront DOOR. That's how it read, too. It was delivered at 8:52 a.m.

I checked the status of it at 9:04 a.m. and sure enough, there it was snuggled up next the one of the walls for warmth.

Abby was probably disappointed in the contents of the box. After opening it up and setting up the right MAC address permissions, it was up and running. Painless, and couldn't have taken more than five minutes--possibly less, as making sure the kids were alright was in there somewhere.

It's a nice thing to sit in the living room with a laptop that we haven't used since starting DSL service a few weeks ago.
